Guwahati: Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill was fined following his team’s over-rate during their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 encounter with Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 26.

Gujarat Titans have faced the consequences of being late in their rate, with the penalty imposed under the IPL code of conduct pertaining to violations of minimum rate. It should be noted that this marked the first offense of the season for Gil’s team in this regard.
