After schools, hospitals and Delhi airport, now Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University (UK) has also received a bomb threat. According to the Delhi Fire Service, a call has been received regarding the bombing of Lady Shri Ram DU College. After this, two fire engines were sent to the scene.
Police team and Delhi Bomb Squad were also activated. However, after investigation nothing suspicious was found. This is the seventh incident of a bomb threat in 23 days since May 1 this month. A day before this, on Wednesday, the Ministry of Home Affairs had received a bomb threat.
Earlier this month, more than 100 schools in Delhi-NCR had received a similar threatening email. Even 8 days ago, a bomb blast was mailed to 7 major hospitals in Delhi and the country’s most secure prison, Tahar. Before this, more than 10 airports have also received such threats.

In the case of a bomb threat to Delhi-NCR schools, it is suspected that the email was sent from Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

May 6: Threat to bomb 23 schools in Ahmedabad
On 6 May, 23 schools in Ahmedabad received bomb threats. After this, panic spread among the students and parents on Monday morning. After receiving the email, teams from the Bomb Disposal Squad and police officers searched the schools.
The email sent to the schools is being sent in the name of Tauheed Warrior. The email reads…Istishadi (Jihadists) have spread across the city and are ready to attack. The warriors of Tawheed will kill all who oppose us. Our aim is to establish Sharia law in Gujarat. Surrender to us or die of our hatred. We will turn your lives into rivers of blood.
May 12: Threat to bomb 13 airports
On May 12, ie last Sunday, many airports in the country were under threat of being bombed. It was written in the email that bombs were hidden in the buildings of Delhi, Jaipur, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Jammu, Lucknow, Patna, Agartala, Aurangabad, Bagdogra, Bhopal and Calicut Airport.
It was written in the post – There will be a blast in a few hours. Please do not take this post as a threat. Diffuse the bomb, otherwise many innocent people will die. The administrative and security personnel of the airport were alerted after the email received on the official CISF ID on Sunday afternoon. Airports were searched, but nothing suspicious was found.
May 13: Threat to bomb 4 schools from Lucknow
On Monday, May 13, a bomb threat was sent to 4 schools in Lucknow in the morning by sending an email. These include Vibgyor, St. Mary’s, PGI from Komtinagar and LPS Alambagh school. The school management immediately announced holidays in the schools. The children were thrown out of the campus. A message was sent to the parents asking them to take the children home immediately.
DCP East said all the schools are being inspected. No suspicious items of any kind have been found yet. All the threats have been received from the same mail ID. Cyber experts, ATS and police teams are involved in the investigation. Cooperation was also sought from NIA.
May 13: Threat to bomb 56 schools in Jaipur
On Monday, May 13, 56 schools in Jaipur received bomb threats. An unknown person notified all the school principals by post early in the morning about the presence of a bomb in the school building. After this, the whole school was evacuated.
Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that the mail came on the school mail ID at 4 am. Mail has been sent everywhere almost at the same time. No information has yet been revealed about the identity of the sender of the post. Cyber teams are working on this. The schools where the mail was received were searched, but no explosive material was found in any school.
May 15: Threat to bomb 7 schools in Kanpur
On May 15, 7 schools in Kanpur received bomb threats. On Wednesday morning, teams of police, bomb disposal squad and dog squad arrived at the schools to investigate. Police first arrived at Shri Sanatan Dharma School of Education in Gumti district. There was a commotion after seeing the police. The children were terrified. Came out of the classroom. Some children started to cry. The management informed the parents immediately. The school was closed.
May 22: Threat to bomb the Ministry of Home Affairs and Finance
