The boat that came to look for the children sank
Two youths drowned in Prabra river in Akul taluka of Ahmednagar district on Wednesday. Their names are Sagar Popat Jedgule (25 years old, resident of Dhulwad, Sinar District) and Arjun Ramdas Jedgule (18 years old, resident of Pamagiri, Sangamner District). SDRF personnel came on Thursday morning to look for these children. In the morning, after they started searching for the children, their boat sank. Three jawans died in this accident. Also, the search for two jawans continues. A passenger boat sank in Ujani Reservoir in Sulpur district. While five people died in it, three jawans and two children died in Ahmednagar district.
He came to save and lost his life
SDRF personnel began searching for the two who drowned in the Praora river. But due to the release of water from the dam, the speed of the water in the river flow becomes enormous. Due to this, the jawan’s boat exploded. Three jawans died in it. His body was found. The search for both continues. This boat had 4 SDRF jawans and 1 local civilian. The incident took place near Sugaon village in Akul taluka. The incident happened at the place where the soldiers who came to rescue died.
After receiving information about the incident, former revenue minister Balashab Torat arrived at the scene. He guided the administration. District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar Hinge informed Balsaheb Thorat about the ongoing efforts to find the two men.
