Los Angeles (Web Desk) In an important step against fake videos, Google has banned ads for deepfake video services.

According to the report, the ban on porn ads was already imposed on Google, but now the company has also banned ads for making nudity ads through fake videos.

Users are also prohibited from advertising services for fake videos, ie altering someone’s photo or video, or completely newly created videos.

The ban also prohibits anyone from promoting fake or artificial deep content that is sexually explicit or altered or created for nudity, “such as websites and apps that make people watch deep pornography.

The ban will come into force on 30 May 2024.

“This update is intended to specifically ban ads from services that offer deep pornography or artificial nudity content,” said Google spokesman Michael Ackman. Any ad that violates Google’s policies will be removed.

Remember, according to a report, in 2023, Google removed more than 1.8 billion ads for violating its policies on sexual content.

On the other hand, preparations are being made to legislate deep pornography in America. Last month, the House and Senate introduced the FAILURE Act, which would allow victims of “digital forgery” to sue those who make or distribute their unauthorized deep forgeries.
