Beautification of ponds in villages will be done under Amrit Sarovar Scheme. But the beautification of 5 ponds of Bondkalan should have been done with an estimate of Rs 3 crore.
Under the Amrit Sarovar Yojana, the government was supposed to spend an estimated amount of Rs 3 crore on the beautification of Kilsar Pond, Dobhi Pond, Rameshwar Pond, Dagwala Johar and Balsar Pond Johar of Bandkalan. Under the Amrit Sarovar Scheme, the silt of the ponds was to be taken out, paths were to be constructed, a 16 feet embankment was to be constructed, a gate was to be constructed, lighting, benches to sit on and saplings to be planted. So that the common people can wander here in the morning and in the evening and keep their health healthy. There is an illegal occupation of about two acres of area on Kilsar, the historic pond of Bondkalan.
While the area of ​​the pool is 10 acres. Along with this, dirty water and household waste are left at the mouth of the pool. Because of this the historic pool is full of filth and the villagers have encroached on the pool. Under the Amrit Sarovar Scheme, the then MP Dharmbir Singh had laid the foundation stone for the beautification of the ponds under the Amrit Sarovar Scheme in August-September 2023. But almost a year has passed but the beautification is not yet aged one pool completed yet.

The work will be completed soon: JE Sunil Kumar of the Panchayat Department said that around Rs 3 crore will be spent on 5 ponds in Bondkalan. Work on all the pools is ongoing. The construction work will be completed soon.
