The administration seized Rs 7 crore in cash, liquor and other substances 48 hours before voting for the Bilaspar parliamentary seat. The district collector and election officer, Avnish Kumar Sharan, said at a press conference that the police, excise and administrative staff seized about 8,000 liters of liquor and other substances on a large scale, so that it will not be possible to influence the elections.
