Former Chief Minister Bhopesh Bagal wrote on social media that many respect and humble gesture. We all pay tribute to the martyrdom of our brave leaders, workers and soldiers who were killed in the conspiratorial and cowardly Naxal attack in Jiram Valley. This plot will be revealed in the court of time, God will do justice and so will the court.

Why did Darmlal Kaushik bring a stay in the Judicial Committee?

In a statement issued by the Congress party, it was said that BJP conspired from the beginning to suppress the truth about Jiram. BJP should say why NIA did not give the file to SIT? Why did Darmlal Kaushik bring a stay in the Judicial Committee? The BJP fears that Jiram will be exposed if the truth comes out.

Criminals must be punished

State Congress media department president Sushil Anand Shukla said the Jiram Valley incident was one such incident that destroyed an entire generation of Congress leadership. This incident happened during the reign of Dr. Raman Singh during the reign of Bharatiya Janata Party. Its culprits should be punished.

All Congress leaders, including Bhopsh Bagal, raised questions about BJP.

Sushil said that there was never a more cruel ruler than Raman Singh in independent India. 32 opposition leaders were murdered at the same time. The government at the time tried its best to prevent the truth from coming out. BJP wants to disrupt the investigation.

Former Leader of the Opposition Dharamla Kaushik stalled the judicial commission’s inquiry into Jiram. BJP fears that if Jiram’s truth comes out, it will be exposed.

A question in Congress

  • Are the BJP leaders afraid that the inquiry into the Jiram Valley incident will reveal some truth that will expose the evil face of the then BJP government?
  • Are the BJP men afraid that the failure of the government of their master, the then Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, and their gross negligence in providing security to the Congress Privartan Yatra will come to light?
  • What is BJP afraid of?
  • Is Darmlal Kaushik afraid that some big conspiracy behind this Naxalite incident will be exposed, which may affect his entire party?
  • After all, who is BJP and its people trying to save?

BJP’s response to the allegations

In an official statement, Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Election Officer and Bihar Cabinet Minister Nitin Navin said regarding the Jiram incident that we demand to expose the nexus between Congress and Naxalites.

Today the Congress is doing petty politics regarding the Jiram case and mocking the martyrdom of its leaders and the emotions of their bereaved families.

The attack took place in this exact place.

Navin further said that instead of asking questions to the BJP, why don’t the Congress members dare to ask questions to the Prime Minister of their previous government, Bhupesh Bagal, who continued to boast that he was walking around with the evidence of the Jiram case in his pocket. In five years, Bagel himself did nothing in the name of the investigation of this case, nor did he cooperate with the central government in the investigation.

On the allegations of the Congress leaders, Home Minister Vijay Sharma recently said that in the context of Jiram, the way Bhopsh Bagal kept saying that the evidence is in his pocket, he is keeping it in his pocket till date, why is he not taking it out.

When Naxalites danced on the corpse in Jiram

Year 2013… Assembly elections were to be held in Chhattisgarh at the end of the year. In the last two elections the Bharatiya Janata Party won and Raman Singh was the Chief Minister. The Congress, which was away from power for 10 years, tried its best to win this time. In this sequence, the Congress was preparing to take out the Parivartan Yatra in the entire state. On May 25, the Congress organized a parivartan rally in Sukma.

After the rally was over, the convoy of Congress leaders went from Sukma to Jagdalpur. There were about 25 vehicles in the convoy, in which 200 leaders were traveling. In the foreground were Congress state president Nandakumar Patel, his son Dinesh Patel and Kwasi Lehma with their bodyguards.

Behind them were the vehicles of Mahendra Karma and Malkit Singh Gaido. The then Congress in-charge Buster Uday Mudaliar marched behind this vehicle along with several other leaders. If seen, all the senior leaders of Chhattisgarh Congress were included in this convoy.

The convoy passed through the Jiram Valley around 4:00 p.m. Here the Naxalites blocked the road by cutting down trees. The vehicles stopped and before anyone could realize anything, more than 200 Naxalites hiding behind the trees started firing indiscriminately.

Naxalites attacked all the vehicles. Nandkumar Patel and his son Dinesh died on the spot. The shooting lasted about an hour and a half.

Around 5:30 in the evening the Naxals came down from the mountains and started checking every vehicle. Those killed in the shooting were shot and stabbed again, so that no one was left alive. Those who were alive were held hostage.

Meanwhile, Mahendra Karma got down from a car and said, ‘Take me as a hostage, leave the rest’. The Naxalites took Mahendra Karma to a short distance and brutally murdered him. More than 30 people died in the attack. In this, except Ajit Jogi, most of the then great leaders of the Chhattisgarh Congress and security forces personnel were martyred.

The main target of this attack was Bastar Tiger Mahendra Karma. The Naxalites considered him their greatest enemy, because he led the ‘Salva Judum’. Naxalites fired about 100 bullets into his body and stabbed him more than 50 times with knives. After the murder, Naxalites even danced on his dead body.
