Social service organizations reached out to help overcome a blood shortage in Bilaspur and provide blood to patients suffering from thalassemia. In the last two days, social organizations collected 1000 doses of blood through the organization of blood donation camps, in which policemen and soldiers also contributed.

It was reported how the family members of needy patients look for blood, but due to the lack of blood in the blood banks they face difficulties. Especially the patients who suffered from thalassemia became more concerned about the need for blood.

SP Rajnesh Singh encouraged the police personnel by donating blood in the camp.

Collected 1000 units of blood in two days

In view of the lack of blood for children suffering from thalassemia, a blood donation camp was organized on Thursday in the IMA building. This camp was organized under the aegis of Payal Ek Naya Savera Foundation and Bilaspur Police.

150 people donated blood in about 9 hours. In this camp, apart from Chowsa College of Engineering, Scout Guides, NCC Team, Shanta Foundation, Humanity Team, Chhatra Nishtha Welfare Team, common people also donated blood.

Chief Guest Superintendent of Police Rajnesh Singh attended the camp and donated blood. During this ASP Umesh Kashyap, ASP Deepmal Kashyap, Trainee DSP Roshan Ahuja, Dr. Sanjay Dubey, Payal Lath, Chanchal Saluja and others.

Bilaspur Police as well as CRPF Bharni camp soldiers actively participated in the camp and donated blood for the thalassemia patients. While giving information, Payal Lath, founder of Payal Ek Naya Savera Foundation, which organized the camp, said that blood donation camps are organized from time to time to save the lives of children suffering from thalassemia. Helmets were given along with certificates to encourage blood donors in the camp.

The Jezva social organization also organized a camp

Earlier, the Jazba Social Organization for Education and Welfare also organized a blood donation camp, where a large number of youths, including others, donated blood. In this camp, about a thousand units of blood were collected and delivered to the blood bank.

Sanjay Matalani, founder of the organization, said that people enthusiastically participated in the camp organized at the Raja Rajuraj Stadium and donated blood.
