A newly married woman committed suicide by hanging herself in the fort. The woman’s name was Arpita Rajput and she was a resident of Odisha. He reached rank after getting married a few months ago. According to the information, Arpita Rajput (33 years), daughter of RK Singh Thakur, a resident of Nawapada in Odisha, was married to Saurabh Rajput, a resident of Durg Jawahar Nagar, 11 months ago. At around 11:00 pm on Thursday night, Arpita was taken down from the gallows by her mother-in-law and taken to the nearby Mahima Hospital.
Father is accused of murder
After that, they reached Arogim hospital, where Arpita’s father came. Arpita was then brought to the district hospital and from there the husband and mother-in-law escaped. Father RK Singh says his daughter cannot commit suicide and has accused her father-in-law of murder.
The in-laws harassed her about her dowry.
RK Singh says his daughter Arpita has been harassed for dowry since few months of her marriage. The daughter told many times about torture by her father-in-law and pawned her gold jewelry. Arpita informed her family about this several times. The father then promised the daughter that he would soon arrange the money.

It is said that Arpita did not receive her father’s call at 9.30 pm. After that father RK Singh called his son-in-law. After that the groom did not tell anything about the incident but told them that Arpita was not well, so she kept her mobile switched off. We take him to the hospital. Hearing this, Arpita’s father got angry and immediately left for the fort.

The husband and in-laws fled
It was reported that the incident took place late at night on Friday, May 24. The husband and in-laws took the unconscious woman to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. None of the in-laws attended the funeral. All the in-laws locked the house and disappeared.
