With the emergence of this sting video, the Sandeshkhali scandal has now taken a new turn. West Bengal politics heated up because of this 32 minute 43 second sting operation video. The video claims that the accusations of atrocities against women in Sandashkali, who have been protesting for so long, are false and fabricated. The whole thing was created by BJP. According to the sting video, a local BJP leader from Sandashkali admitted this in the video. However, Omar Ojala does not confirm the authenticity of this video.
In the video, a man is heard admitting that various charges, including rape, were filed as planned. In the video, he has been identified as Gangadhar Kyal, BJP’s ‘mandal president’ in Sandeshkhali block 2. In the viral video, Gangadhar is seen sitting on a chair in a room. Someone asks him questions and he answers. As soon as this video surfaced, TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attacked BJP. In her tweet, Mamata Banerjee directly targeted the BJP and the central government.
