There will be a respite from intense heat in Chhattisgarh for the next three days. Due to a strong thunderstorm, rain and clouds the temperature of the day will remain low. Rain activities will continue in most districts of Baster division. Even today, there is a drizzle of thunder and lightning in many districts of the country including Ripur.

A large amount of moisture reaches the country from the sea. Because of the humidity, there is good rain in some places along with strong wind in the evening and at night. Kawardha recorded a maximum rainfall of 50 mm during the last 24 hours. Mana and Rajnandgaon received about 10 mm of rain each. Light rain was also recorded in other places.
Light rain fell in and around Jadalpur during the day on Thursday. Fluctuations in temperature are seen in the next 24 hours. The highest temperature was recorded at Durg at 42.6 degrees and the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees at Ambikpur.
Due to the humidity, there is good rain in some places along with strong wind in the evening and at night.
Chance of rain in these districts today
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Surguja, Balarampur, Kurba, Raipur, Gariband, Rajnandgaon, Bastar, Kundgaon, Dantewada, Sukma, Kankar, Bijapur and Narayanpur districts today.
Weather changes due to trough and humidity
Meteorologist Dr. Gayatri Vani Kanchi said that a cyclone has formed in and around southeast Rajasthan. Starting from this, there is a trough from Madhya Pradesh to Jharkhand. Similarly, a north-south trough runs from the cyclone over Rajasthan to Marathwada through southwest Madhya Pradesh and central Maharashtra.This system will continue to bring moisture to the state.
Rain is possible until May 26
According to the meteorological department, there will be thunderstorms in Baster sector and light rain in Gariband till May 26. On May 24 there are chances of rain in Surguja and Balrampur. Apart from this, rain is possible in Surjah, Jeshpur, Korea, Surajpur and Balarampur on May 25.

Do not leave the cooler and AC directly outside
