A newborn baby was found abandoned near Old Kalali on Vyankatesh Marg (VT Road) of Alirajpur. Local residents heard the child crying and pulled him out of the drain. The residents informed the police and the doctors of the district hospital.

After the information, a team of doctors reached the spot and took the newborn to the district hospital and examined him for health. Earlier, some women among the eyewitnesses took basic care of the child by cleaning it.
According to Dr Sachin Patidar, a pediatrician at the district hospital, the child was born prematurely, that is, it is a premature delivery. At the moment his treatment continues in the Pediatric Intensive Care Department of the District Hospital. He also said the newborn was very weak and was being kept on oxygen due to difficulty breathing.
