Srinagar, March 27: Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday said they have booked a double agent for giving false information about fake heroin to security agencies.
A police spokesperson in a statement said that on 26-3-2024 reliable information was received at PS Karnah that Aazam Shah S/O Ghulam Hussain Shah R/O Pingla Haridal was using urea fertilizer, Nishashat, and white cosmetic powder, etc. , and it makes a substance similar to artificial Brown Sugar.
“After that, that person gives false information to security agencies in order to falsely implicate innocent people. Accordingly, a case under FIR number 14/2024 under section 420 IPC has been registered at the Karnah police station, and investigation has been conducted,” the police said.
During a search of his property, incriminating material (urea fertilizer, starch powder, white cosmetic powder) and mobile phone of the accused have been seized for expert analysis, police said.
