The man was later identified as city councilor Alauddin Menier. BJP ID cell chief Amit Malviya shared the video and wrote, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar slapped Congress municipal councilor Alauddin Mania during the election campaign in Sabnoor, Haveri. Is this not the first time DK has attacked a Congress worker? What was their crime? When DK Shivakumar got out of the car, he put his hand on his shoulder.
Malviya said, I am surprised why Congress workers do not want to work for Congress? Their leaders slap them, humiliate them, don’t give them tickets to run in the elections.
