Officials in the engineering department of the Samastipur railway division said that in 1874, the British built a 180-meter bridge over this bridge for the narrow bridge. At that time, trains were used to transport relief materials along with passengers. The small line itself was then converted to a large line. Two new railway bridges have now been built in place of this bridge. Up and down service is taken from it. After running trains on the two new bridges, this bridge has now been declared derelict. An auction was held to sell the scrap of the unused bridge. After that, demolition work on gutters, etc. of the bridge began.
