Jairam Ramesh no opposition front is possible without Congress
Asked if the TMC and SP’s move could shake the opposition’s unity, Ramesh said, “TMC, Samajwadi, people meet, third front, fourth front will continue to form, but Congress needs to be in the opposition.”
“If the opposition alliance is formed, the Congress will play a central role in it. No front is possible without the Congress. But it is too early to talk about this,” he said.
First there is an election in Karnataka, followed by elections in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram, he said.
“This year we will be completely occupied with the regional elections, we will see after the 2024 elections,” said the former Union minister.
