Deepika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim’s love blossomed after they first met on the sets of the popular show Sasural Simar Ka. They got married on February 22, 2018.
Popular TV couple Shoaib Ibrahim and Deepika Khekar enjoy a huge fan following. Both the actors often share snippets of their personal lives on social media that appeal to their fans. The couple also run their separate YouTube channels – Dipika Ki Duniya and Shoaib Ibrahim Official. In one of the vlogs, Shoaib recently revealed that his mother had undergone minor surgery, leaving the family members worried.
In the video, the actor shared, “There’s a small procedure. A minor surgery. It’s a female hormonal issue. I can share details later. We’re all worried and Ami is more worried. I’ve never seen her hospitalized. It’s just a minor surgery, but giving anesthesia and being in that state for 12 to 13 hours, everyone will come with anxiety.”
Shoaib’s wife and Bigg Boss Season 12 winner Deepika shared that her mother-in-law is worried even when she goes for routine check-ups. “Every time a family member is admitted to the hospital, even if it’s a minor, it worries everyone,” she said. Deepika added, “She talks to us, but goes back to that area. She cries often. Just hope she doesn’t panic during the surgery.”
Meanwhile, Shoaib shared some glimpses of his mother from the hospital where she could be seen preparing for her surgery. The Ajooni actor told his mother that she reminded him of his father. “He (his father) also remains silent and continues to stare at the roof,” he added.
In the video, Shoaib also announced that the procedure took 30 to 40 minutes, and the surgery went well. He added that they took care of her while she was on the road to recovery. “She is resting now and will recover soon. She was talking about Rohan (Shoaib and Deepika’s son),” he said.
Deepika and Shoaib’s love blossomed after they first met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka. They got married on February 22, 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, son Rohan last year in June. In 2022, Deepika faced a miscarriage which she shared openly and said it was a very difficult time for both of them.
On the work front, Shoaib was last seen in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11.
