Patients in health and sub-health centers of various blocks, including the district’s Sadar Hospital, are facing the brunt of the shortage of stretcher men. The biggest hit is the patients who come to the emergency department of Sadr Hospital. When, despite an adequate number of stretchers and carts, due to a lack of service to the patients, the family members somehow carry the patients on their shoulders and laps. A similar situation exists in every health center in the district, where there is a cart system but there is no cart person to operate it.
