Achi news desk-Bhaskar News District Elections Officer cum Deputy Commissioner of Simdega Khunti Loss district, Lokesh Mishra, scrutinized the nomination papers in the presence of the candidates and their representatives on Friday. During the investigation, nominations of a total of nine candidates were canceled due to a lack of necessary papers and information. With this, now a total of 7 names of candidates remain for the Khunti parliamentary constituency. Candidates whose papers have been canceled include Soma Munda of Abua Jharkhand Party, Jaipal Munda of Bhagidari Party, Samdom Gudiya of Ambedkarite Party of India, Samuel Purti, Indian People’s Party Thomas Dang, Jharkhand Party Pyara Mundu, Lokhit Adhikar Party, independent Subodh Purti and Ahlad Kerketta are included. Ahlad was being discussed as a candidate from the Kerketta Kharia community. The candidates whose papers were found correct in the inquiry include Arjun Munda of BJP, Kalicharan Munda of Congress, Arpana Hans of JHA, Savitri Purti of BSP, Babita Kachhap of Bharat Adivasi Party, Independent Basant Kumar Longa and Pastor Sanjay Kumar Tirkey. Basant has been MLA from Kolebira. He has come to the field against the decision of his party JMM.
