Lucknow Super Giants challenged Hyderabad to 166 runs for victory. Hyderabad’s opening pair completed this challenge within 10 overs. The opening pair of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma fell apart against the Lucknow players. Rush scored 89 and Sharma scored 75 not out. With this win, Hyderabad took another step towards the playoffs. Even after the defeat, Lucknow’s challenge remained intact. Sunrisers Hyderabad completed the challenge of 166 runs for victory with 62 balls to spare. For the first time in IPL history, a 150+ run challenge was completed in 10 overs. Earlier, Delhi completed the 116-run challenge against Punjab Kings in 2022 in 11.3 runs. Deccan Chargers also scored 155 runs in 12 overs against Mumbai in 2008.
