The court has sentenced a person guilty of murdering a young man with a sharp weapon in the fields of Binjhaul village in Haryana’s Panipat district to life imprisonment. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 50 thousand on the culprit. If the fine is not paid, the convict will have to spend an additional two months in prison. The criminal had committed the crime on suspicion of having an illicit relationship with his stepdaughter. Additional Sessions Judge Archana Yadav has sentenced the guilty to life imprisonment after hearing the case for 64 months on the evidence of 19 witnesses.
