Congress released list for Himachal by-elections, fielded candidates on 3 seats, see list Achi-News

Himachal: The Congress has released the first list of candidates for the by-elections to be held in 6 assembly seats in Himachal on June 1. The Congress announced the names of 3 candidates for the external elections to the Assembly. In this list, Captain Ranjit Singh Rana of Sujanpur, Rakesh Kalia of Jagart and Vivek Sharma of Kotalhar have been nominated. In fact, by-elections are to be held in 6 assembly seats in Himachal. Earlier there were Congress members in all these 6 assembly seats.

Let us tell you that out of these 6 seats, Dharamshala, Lahaul Spiti and Badasar seats have been kept pending. Sudhir Sharma from Dharamshala, Rajendra Rana from Sujanpur, Ravi Thakur from Haul Spiti, Indradutt Lakhanpal from Badsar, Devendra Kumar Bhutto from Kotalhar and Chaitanya Sharma from Gargart cross-voted in the Rajya Sabha elections, due to which Congress candidate S Abinghavik lost. After that, all 6 members of the Knesset were disqualified by the chairman of the assembly. The rebel former Congressman then joined the party on March 23 at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. BJP declared all 6 rebels as candidates for the by-election.
