A lion named Samrat was sick for two months in the Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, i.e. Patna Zoo. There was a wart under his left eye. Due to this problem, there is difficulty in eating and drinking. When Dinik Bhaskar spoke to zoo director Satyajit Kumar about the lion emperor on Friday, some shocking information came to light. Satyajit Kumar said that the emperor was suffering from cancer. The wart sample was sent to a Hyderabad vet for examination. The investigation report revealed that the emperor was suffering from cancer. Subsequently, specialist doctors were called from Mumbai and Hyderabad.

He performed the surgery for 5 hours with the help of seven doctors of Patna Veterinary.
