On the second day of voting for the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was injured again. His foot slipped while boarding the helicopter in Durgapur. He is currently being taken to Asansol. In the video related to this incident, it can be clearly seen that while boarding the helicopter, her foot slipped and she fell. The security personnel present there wanted to collect him. Mamta suffered minor injuries due to the fall.

This is not the first time Matta has been injured many times in the past. She was recently injured from a fall in her home. She fell while walking on campus and caused a severe head injury. He was immediately taken to SSKM Hospital for treatment, where he was also stitched up.
