Samastipur on Saturday, a special pooja was conducted at the Hanuman temple located in Thaneshwar Sthan temple complex in the city along with the rituals of Lord Hanuman by offering incense, lamp, garland, vermilion and navaidya. During this, the Hanuman Khalisa was invoked by chanting the Hanuman Mantra Om Shri Han Hanumat Nama. Devotees worshiped the god Hanuman and sought blessings for the happiness and peace of their home. A crowd of devotees is seen in the temple during the puja. After the puja, prasad is distributed among the devotees present.
