Yesterday, six judges of the Islamabad High Court raised the issue of executive interference and secret agencies in the judiciary.
Among the letter writers were senior judges Justice Mohsin Kayani, Justice Tariq Jahangiri, Justice Babar Sattar, Justice Arbab Tahir, Justice Ijaz Ishaq and Justice Taman Rifat.
In the letter, the judges mentioned the events that happened to them and wrote that the scope of the investigation should be wide so that there is still no interference in marking and forming benches to hear the cases?
The letter added that there is no guidance in the Code of Conduct for Judges on how to report such a situation.
