The State Bank of Islamabad (Newsdesk) Pakistan has released the data of Roshan’s digital account activities in the month of March.
According to the central bank, 11 thousand 91 digital Roshan accounts were opened in March 2024. Thus, the number of digital Roshan accounts has reached 6 lakh 79 thousand 792 till March.

In the scheme launched for overseas Pakistanis from September 2020, an average of 15,450 accounts were opened per month in 44 months.
In March this year, 182 million dollars were deposited. $1.7 million was withdrawn and $13.5 million was used locally.
As of March 2024, $7.66 billion had been deposited in Roshan accounts, of which 83 percent had either been spent or withdrawn by depositors in the country. Roshan accounts net payment is billion 28 crores.
