The Lott notified Tower Systems via XchangeIT of changes planned for May 6th to accommodate the Weekday Windfall game launching on May 20th.
Despite vehement protests from me to senior management at The Lott, they, in their infinite wisdom (bless you), plan to reuse product code for the new game. This code is now linked to the Payments department.
In our opinion, this is a very stupid and dangerous step by the lot. They had to use a completely new product code.
Failure to follow the steps outlined in our knowledge base advice will result in all Sales for the new Weekday Windfall game are treated as payouts or lottery winnings. It is dangerous for you to distribute funds to customers by mistake.

Here is the response from The Lott after I explained to them the risks involved in reusing a product code:
I appreciate that you are concerned about reusing Product ID 22, however, due in part to some code capacity issues, a decision has been made to use this code for the upcoming Wenday Windfall. Please note, any terminal development involving the use of Product ID 22 for Weekday Windfall has received regulatory approval and cannot be changed.
