Ranchi JMM has expelled former MP Basant Longa from the party for six years for filing nomination from Khunti parliamentary seat against the decision of the party leadership. Party General Secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey has said in a letter sent to Basant Longa that by filing nomination from Khunti parliamentary seat you have acted against alliance principles. In addition, attempts are also made to mislead JMM employees. Therefore, as per the orders of JMM President Shibu Soren, you are released from all party posts and disqualified for six years.
