Through JEE Main score, students will be able to get admission in national level engineering colleges of Jharkhand. In this regard, the nomination process is conducted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). Through this, the counseling process will begin for enrollment in IIT, NIT, Triple IT and other government funded technical institutes. On the basis of JEE Main score, one can register for 751 seats in NIT Jamshedpur, 270 seats in Triple IT Ranchi, 270 seats in NIAMT Ranchi and 930 B.Tech seats in BIT Mesra. JoSAA and CSAB counseling process will start after JEE Advanced result. There are eight branches of B.Tech in NIT Jamshedpur. It has a total of 751 seats. 50 percent seats are reserved for students from Jharkhand. Last year, the closing rank in the general category in the home state was 79,035, in OBC 99,368. While for other states, the closing rank in the general category was 64,898, and the closing rank for OBC was 82,002. There are a total of four branches in the B.Tech course from Ranchi IT Triple. There will be a nomination process for a total of 270 seats. In this regard, last year the closing rank for general category in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was 37,119, the closing rank in Electronics and Communication Engineering was 48,160, the closing rank in CSE Data Science and Artificial Intelligence was 32,655, the closing in ECE Embedded System and Internet of Things was 42,619. National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, NIAMT Ranchi offers four B.Tech courses. It has 60 seats in Computer Engineering, 60 seats in Production and Industrial Engineering, 75 seats in Mechanical Engineering and 75 seats in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. Last year in the open category, the closing rank in Computer Engineering was 49,674, the closing rank in Production and Industrial Engineering was 82,221, the closing rank in Mechanical Engineering was 65,805 and the closing rank in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering was 80,719.
