Maharashtra Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Asim Azmi strongly attacked Mahbikas Agadi (India Alliance). He expressed his displeasure that MVA did not field even a single Muslim candidate. He said it was a very shameful thing that the Congress had not fielded even a single Muslim candidate in the elections. Along with this, the Congress is also caught up in the issue of Muslim reservation.
SP member Abu Azmi said in a post on the social media platform
It is disappointing to see that Mahavikas Agadi (All India) has not nominated a single Muslim candidate for any of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra. Former Congress minister Araf Naseem Khan also did not get a ticket from the North Central Mumbai Lok Sabha seat, due to which he also resigned. First pic.twitter.com/bqSGxf7hCk

Support for Muslim reservation
He said that former Congress minister Araf Naseem Khan also did not get a ticket from the North Mumbai Lok Sabha seat, due to which he also resigned. Despite passing reservation earlier, Congress did not support Muslim reservation during the last 2.5 years MVA tenure.
Congress did not give tickets to Muslims
Although the Samajwadi Party sought a seat in Maharashtra, the Congress rejected the demand on the grounds of an inadequate share of the state. Despite being a major party in Maharashtra, it is a matter of shame that the Congress has not been able to field even a single Muslim candidate.
