A young man who had come to his in-laws house in Gwalior was crushed by a speeding container. In the accident, the wheel of the container passed over the young man’s feet. Afterwards both his legs were amputated. The injured was taken to hospital where he died. After the death of the young man, the family created a barrier. As soon as the news of highway jam was received, TI and police forces of many Gwalior police stations were rushed to the spot. The family was explained, after which the situation came under control. The highway remained blocked for about two hours. The administration provided financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to the family of the deceased on behalf of the Red Cross. The accident happened on Ghatigaon Road on Thursday night. Police have launched a search for the accused container driver.
