Farmers are protesting on the railway tracks on the borders of Khanauri, Dabwali and Shambhu as well as at Shambhu railway station.

Farmers have been sitting on the tracks at Shambhu railway station in Punjab for the last 11 days (Wednesday) on the call of United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan-Labour Morcha. The protesters have announced that they will continue the agitation until three farmers are released including the young farmer leader Navdeep Singh.

On the other hand, the ultimatum given by the farmers to the government should end today.
