The Israeli Embassy in India rejected reports that a mass grave was found in the Nasir Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip. The embassy said that the grave was dug up by Gazans several months ago. She dismissed as false any attempt to accuse Israel of burying civilians in mass graves.

Misinformation is circulating about a mass grave that was discovered at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, the Israeli Embassy said in a post on Twitter. The grave in question was dug up by Gazans several months ago. This fact is confirmed by social media videos posted by Gaza residents at the time of the burial. Any attempt to accuse Israel of burying civilians in mass graves is completely wrong and an example of propaganda designed to blame Israel.

Gaza Civil Defense officials said a mass grave with more than 300 bodies was found at a hospital in Khan Yunis following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area earlier this month, CNN reported.

Colonel Yaman Abu Suleiman, director of civil defense in Khan Yunis, said 35 bodies were recovered from Nasser Medical Hospital on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 310. Suleiman said about 73 bodies were found on Monday. Suleiman claimed that the hands and feet of some of the bodies were tied. “We don’t know if he was buried alive or killed,” he said. Most of the bodies were dismembered. The Israel Defense Forces rejected each claim as baseless.
