The police went on top of the tanker and opened the lid and searched and found the liquor box inside. When the driver was questioned, he said that 702 boxes of illegal foreign liquor from different companies were kept in the tanker.

Gwalior SP Dharambir Singh said, “The police have launched a massive operation. It was said that a large amount of foreign liquor was smuggled in that tanker. The tanker was stopped. The tanker appeared to be a sulfuric tanker. However, when the lid of the tanker is opened, the eyes go wild! There are plenty of foreign drink boxes to be seen. Approximately 702 boxes were found. It is estimated to be worth around 52 lakh rupees.”
Dharambir Singh also said, “The owner of the tanker lives in Barmer in Rajasthan. A man named Manish passed the tanker near the victim. The tanker was being transported to Nagpur. Manish’s identity will be known only after remand. And how he is connected to this circle, that will also be known. A preliminary investigation revealed that it was an inter-state gang. who smuggle liquor hidden in tankers.”
