The online application process for Chhattisgarh State Eligibility Test (SET) July 2024 has started. This exam is conducted for eligibility in 19 professions. The next set will be for 34 subjects. high to include 15 new subjects in CG sets

After 2017, a new theme was added to the set in the form of HomeScience. The 15 subjects that are getting ready to be included in the CG lineup include management, journalism, Chhattisgarhi, anthropology, education, performing arts and other subjects. There are more than 40 PG subjects in the universities and colleges of the country. But SET is organized in 19 subjects.
On the other hand, the demand to integrate a new topic has been voiced for many years, but it has not been answered. This time the higher education department sent a proposal to the UGC to include a new subject in the set. Officials say it is expected that approval will be received from there soon. If all goes well, the set will be organized again in November this year with new themes. It is worth noting that those who qualify for SET will be considered qualified for the recruitment of assistant professors in the state’s universities and colleges.
To be determined on July 21, the application will begin
The set will be organized by Vyapam on 21st July. The process of submitting the online application for this has started. The forms will be filled out by June 9. While errors in online application can be corrected from June 10 to 12. Viafam has conducted this inspection four times in the country so far in 2013, 2017, 2018, 2019. There is a possibility that this year this inspection will be conducted twice a year.

The number of PG students increased during the Corona period, hence more applications: Last time a total of 56712 requests were received for the set. 43256 appeared in the test. On the other hand, during the Corona period, for three years from 2020 to 2022, the students took the exams conducted by the state universities sitting at home. By this a large number of students have passed PG. Therefore, there is a possibility of more requests coming in this set of time. Experts say that preparations continue for the recruitment of assistant professors in government colleges of the country. A vacancy will come out in the coming months. For this too, a large number of applications for the set are expected.
A proposal has been sent to the UGC to add a new topic to the set. After receiving the approval from there, new topics will be included in the next exam. The July exam will be held according to the pre-determined subjects only.
