Shalin Bhanot honored both occasions by visiting a temple and then visiting Kamathipura in earnest, where she spent quality time with the women workers.
Actor Shalin Bhanot, widely recognized for his landmark roles in popular TV serials like Inspector Avinash (2023), Pyare Mohan (2006), and Do Hanson Ka Jodaa (2010), marked the twin celebrations of International Women’s Day and Mahashivratri in a manner meaningful. on Friday, March 8, 2024.
On this special day, the actor honored both the occasions by visiting a temple to offer prayers and then sincerely visiting the Kamathipura area of Mumbai, where he spent quality time with the women workers there. He also shared a glimpse of his thoughtful celebration on his Instagram handle.
In the caption, Bhanot wrote, “Having found the right balance between the give and take this Shivratri and Women’s Day, by honoring Shiv ji’s wisdom of celebrating spirituality and empowered women. From the blessings of the temple to sharing joy with these strong women… I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate them both!”

During his visit to Kamathipura, Bhanot also extended his support to the sex workers by offering help, a gesture that was greatly appreciated by the community. The actor’s act of kindness resonated with his fans, who flooded the comments section with love and blessings. One fan wrote, “God bless your brother… kabh tak dil jeetoge,” while another fan said, “Well done bro.” Praising his efforts, one fan said, “Your voice is beautiful and the message is even more beautiful,” while another fan sent wishes saying, “Sending you love and more love.”
This visit to Kamathipura is not the first for Bhanot. He has played an active role in supporting the community, especially during challenging times such as the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences. His constant efforts, including distributing food, and masks, and engaging with the women, have been widely appreciated.
