The Bihar team was the champion in the boys and girls category in the National Schools Rugby Under-17 Competition 2023-24 held in Pune, Maharashtra. The Bihar team created history by winning a total of 6 gold medals, 3 in the boys category and 3 in the girls category. Bihar got gold, Odisha got silver and Maharashtra got bronze medals.
