It has been 23 years since Jharkhand became a state. The rationale behind the formation of the state was that it would lead to better development in the area. But, even after so many years, there is a lack of better health facilities here. Two major government institutions of Dhanbad – Medical College and Sadar Hospital are suffering from lack of manpower and resources. People are not getting the benefit of the available resources properly.
