AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said all parties in Maharashtra want Muslim votes in Lok Sabha elections. He also said that no party presented any Muslim candidate. Addressing a rally in Amkhas Maidan on Monday, he alleged that various parties had come together to defeat his Aurangabad MP Imtiaz Gill.
Owaisi said, “Political parties are looking for votes from Muslims, but they could not get a candidate from this community for even one of the 48 seats in Maharashtra. They are not worried about the results, but both Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress Imtiaz have come here to defeat Jalil.”
A Shiv Sena (UBT) leader criticized
Criticizing Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Chandrakant Khair, Owaisi said, “He calls himself a Hindu leader, but he came to Idga after realizing the importance of Muslim voters. His politics is based on Khan or Ban (Muslim-Hindu) first.” He explains the importance of Nemez.”
Owaisi described Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray as the new secular. According to him, “The former prime minister should clarify his position regarding the demolition of the Babri Masjid. He should say whether it is a sin or not.”
