The attempt to rob a citizen in Liaquatabad was thwarted by the timely intervention of the citizens.
In the central district of Karachi, Liaquatabad, citizens beat up thieves. The police arrived at the scene and took the pilgrims into custody and moved them to the police station.
Footage of the beating and arrest of the thieves has surfaced.
SSP Zeeshan Siddiqui said that the supermarket police took timely action and rescued the robbers from the citizens and took them into custody.
Two suspects were caught red-handed by the citizens while committing a crime against the citizen, and a pistol and two mobile phones were found stolen from them. The names of the accused are known as Faridullah and Irfanullah.
Police said a stolen motorcycle and cash were also recovered from their possession. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
