The Supreme Court agreed to hear the petition challenging the order of the Allahabad High Court. This petition is related to the acquittal of Surendra Kohli in the Nithari murder case in 2006. A bench of Justice BR Gavai, Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Sandeep Mehta issued notice on the appeal filed by Pappu Lal, father of one of the victims. Senior advocate Geeta Luthra and advocates Rupesh Kumar Sinha and Satrop Das, appearing for Pappu Lal, said the Allahabad High Court erred in its conclusion. The Supreme Court issued a notice to Cooley in the case and asked for his reply. Apart from that, Taboo was instructed to request records from the lower court and the Supreme Court. In his request, Lal appealed the High Court’s order of October 16 and pleaded only with my voice.
