PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint News / Pakistan Point – 28th Mar, 2024) Superintendent of Police, City District Tayyab Jan on Thursday held a special meeting with representatives of the business community and presidents of markets for security arrangements on the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali.
He said the business community is the backbone of the country’s economy where security, a peaceful and conducive environment is a priority for the police.
He appreciated the business community for their cooperation on all occasions with the police and other government machinery.
He said that the police officers are in touch with all the schools of thought and the concerned persons from all sects to maintain an atmosphere of brotherhood and inter-faith harmony.
He said the security of Iambarghas, processions, and gatherings would be monitored through closed circuit cameras.
BDU officers along with sniffer dogs would be used to deal with any untoward situation.
Checking would be done at all entrances and exits in the city, while security personnel in plain clothes would also carry out security duty
The meeting was attended by ASP Hashtangari Ali Abdullah, DSP Noor Wahid Khan, police station SHO Khan Raziq Salim Khan, representatives of the business community, and traders.
