The police have issued a 41A warning to 50 land mafias.
The Jharkhand High Court has directed the state government to strengthen the task force in the districts and take strict action against those involved in land mafia, ransom demands and violence against women. On Thursday, a division bench of Acting Chief Justice S Chandrashekhar and Justice Navneet Kumar ordered the government to submit the report on the steps taken so far in the districts by the task force.
The division bench asked the government to stop the land mafia and those demanding ransom.
