During the day: If BJP comes to power, Dinhata Trinamool leader Ratan Khune and Minister Udayan Guha will be jailed. BJP state spokesperson Shankudev Panda gave this warning from BJP’s election meeting at Dinhata Panchmatha junction on Wednesday. He also said, ‘Udayan Guha took the money for the house and is eating the house, people will answer to him. And he challenged Nisith to go down to the open field.’ Shanku also raised questions about Udayan’s record vote win.
Although Udayan Guha said, ‘Many people have given such warnings, Udayan Guha does not care. And referring to the assassination of a Trinamool leader, he said, ‘What was Shanku doing when he was also in Trinamool? So you can’t win votes with those claims.’ Apart from Shanku, BJP central committee member Mafuja Khatun, BJP district committee secretary Ajay Roy, Jivesh Biswas and others were present on the day. Mafuja spent most of his speech on the corruption of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
