SRINAGAR: On the direction of the District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat an awareness Rally, “Run for Democracy,” was organized under the ongoing SVEEP campaign here today.
The event was held under the supervision of SVEEP/AMF Nodal Officer Abdul Hamid Fani at the Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Kothibagh, to instill a sense of responsibility and educate the public, especially students, about the significance of exercising their vote in a thriving democracy. .
The initiative, called “Run for Democracy,” brought together a diverse group of participants, including Regional Education Planning Officer Ms. Anjum Raja, teachers from different areas of education, and members of the community. “
The main objective of the “Run for Democracy” awareness rally was to emphasize the importance of democratic participation and the impact that individuals can have by casting their votes.

District Electoral Officer Srinagar praised the organizers for holding the Awareness Rally and said that it is very important in a democratic system that every individual realizes the significance of his vote and exercises it actively.
