A Simchat Haim ceremony was organized by the Purnia Private Teachers Association at Kalabhavan in the city. More than 800 students from 7 districts of Kosi-Simanchal and the teachers who taught them, who scored more than 80 percent in the Bihar Board Intermediate Examination, were honored. Hundreds of students and teachers participated in this program. Pappu Yadav, MLA Purnia Sadar Vijay Khemka, Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Pallavi Gupta participated in the program as chief guests.
