Guest teachers protest at BJP candidate’s residence in Sirsa.

Guest teachers in Sirsa, Haryana staged a symbolic demonstration outside the residence of BJP candidate Ashok Tanwar on Thursday. In the absence of Ashok Tanwar, his Personal Assistant came to meet the visiting professor and talk to him. The guest teachers have insisted that as per Haryana BJP’s 2014 election manifesto, the guest teachers were not regularized even after 10 years in 2024.

They have had 6 years of equal pay since the government announced it in February 2018.
