The annual conference of Sahitya Maha Parishad was celebrated with great pomp at the Dr. Paguni Ram Auditorium of Jagjivan Mahavidyalaya in Gaya. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest, former Vice-Chancellor of Munger University, Prof. Ranjit Kumar Verma, Professor, Department of Hindi, South Central University Bihar, Prof. Suresh Chandra, Senior Librarian Dr. Ramakrishna, President of Sahitya Maha Parishad, Dr. Pradeep Kumar. After that, the guests present on the stage also launched a magazine called Sahyatri. In his presidential speech, the head of the council, Dr. Ram Sihanson Singh, said that literature, whether it is poetry or a story, is meaningful only when it has a sense of social reality.
