Panchami Rank 2024: According to the Hindu calendar, Rang Panchami festival is celebrated on the fifth day of Chaitra Krishna Paksha. The Rang Panchami festival is celebrated five days after the Holi festival. This Hindu festival is celebrated after Holi. This year Rang Panchami is on 30th March, Saturday. This festival is called Rang Panchami because it is celebrated on Panchami day. This festival is celebrated with great pomp in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and some parts of North India. It is said that divine powers are more than negative powers on Rang Panchami day. On this day, during Barsana Radharani, there is a special worship and darshan at her temple. It is believed that Shri Krishna performed Raaslila with the Gopis on this day and celebrated the festival of playing with colors the next day.

Method of celebrating Rang Panchami-
1. On this day people congratulate each other on Rang Panchami by applying Abir-Gulaal.
2. On this day, Abir-Gulal is also offered to Radha-Krishna.
3. Shobha Yatra is taken out on this day.
Importance of Rang Panchami- According to mythology, Rang Panchami day is dedicated to gods and goddesses. It is said that using colors on this day spreads positive energy in the world. It is believed that the colors put on each other on this day fly towards the sky. By doing this the Gods and Goddesses are attracted and showered with their blessings.
Special medicines for Rang Panchami-
1. On the day of Rang Panchami, Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu should be worshiped together. Mother Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, prosperity etc. At the time of puja, offer red gulal to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. Recitation of Kanakadhara Stotra during puja. Doing this is believed to increase wealth.
2. On Rang Panchami day, worship Lord Krishna and Radha Rani. After this offer them gulal. It is believed that by doing this the problems that occur in married life disappear. Love relationships become stronger. For happiness in married life, husband and wife should worship together.
3. On the day of Rang Panchami, tie a coin and five pieces of turmeric in a yellow cloth and keep it in the place of worship. Then meditate on Goddess Lakshmi and light a ghee lamp. When the lamp cools, keep the bundle of turmeric and coins in the safe. Doing this is believed to increase wealth.
4. Worshiping Goddess Lakshmi on Rang Panchami day is considered fruitful. At the time of puja, white sweets like barfi, batasha, sugar candy or kheer should be offered to Goddess Lakshmi. It is believed that if Goddess Lakshmi is pleased, wealth and property in the family increases.
